A landmark to the JRPG genre. You can clearly see many elements in this classic that had a big influence in other games. Terrible port. Cloud saving messes up every now and again which leads you into having to do a 45 minute part of the game over again, on top of it generally crashing into black screen. I had to put it down after spending leaving midgar to kalm and doing that whole story sequence twice then having the game freeze. I hate that they gave the characters butt hole mouths too. Cant reassign my controller to the original ps1 controlls for some reason with steam, so using a weird control scheme that I really dont care for. Buy it for ps1 or play the rom. Don't buy the steam version!.
